The Parking Plan of the Municipality of Parma regulates the transit and vehicles parking in the historical center and in the surrounding areas with the aim of keeping the city accessible and comfortable.
In these areas parking must be paid or it is reserved for permit holders (for example residents, traders, people with disabilities).
Pay attention to the vertical signs in the different areas.

the paid parking areas is delimited by blue lines and are accessible to all vehicles. They are active during the day time on working days.

Parking
In the city there are 10 covered pay parking lots next to the historical center Near the car parks, 14 address panels indicate, in real time, the available parking spaces. All car parks are located near the Parma Bike Sharing stations.
At the gates of Parma there are10 free parking lots where you can park your car 24 hours a day. In some of these car parks there are active Parma Bike Sharing station to reach the town center easily. The Tep shuttle service is also available.

The Ghiaia Car Park is located in the Limitated Traffic Zone.Grazie al sistema di rilevamento targhe è permesso alle auto non autorizzate al transito in centro di accedere al parcheggio Ghiaia da v.le Mariotti. Per chi non è già in possesso di titolo valido, l'ingresso in ZTL è consentito solo in caso di utilizzo effettivo del parcheggio Ghiaia accedendo da v.le Mariotti e unicamente per accedere al parcheggio.L'ingresso al parcheggio è regolato da apposito segnale luminoso posizionato sulla rotonda tra il ponte Verdi e l'inizio di v.le Mariotti, che indica se il parcheggio è "libero" o "occupato". Nei pressi del segnale le vetture possono procedere in direzione del parcheggio e accedervi solo in caso di segnale luminoso "libero", mentre l'accesso è comunque vietato ai non autorizzati in caso di segnale luminoso "occupato".
