Parking
The Parking Plan of the Municipality of Parma regulates the transit and vehicles parking in the historical center and in the surrounding areas with the aim of keeping the city accessible and comfortable.
In this area parking must be paid. This area is reserved for permit holders (for example residents, traders, people with disabilities).
Pay attention to the vertical signs in the different areas.

Parking

Blue lines
the paid parking areas is delimited by blue lines and are accessible to all vehicles. They are active during the day time on working days.
Payment for parking on the blue lines areas can be done through the appropriate parking meters or by purchasing tickets and season tickets or prepaid cards (which can be purchased at the Infomobility Front Office in Viale Mentana, 29/A).
Rates change according to the areas and the duration of the parking time/stop.

Tickets and Subscriptions
There are parking tickets with different validities depending on the need. They can be purchased at the Infomobility Front Office in Viale Mentana, 29 / A or in the designated tobacco shops and newsagents.

Parking
In the city there are 10 covered pay parking lots next to the historical center. Near the car parks, 14 address panels indicate, in real time, the available parking spaces. All car parks are located near the Parma Bike Sharing stations.
At the gates of Parma there are10 free parking lots where you can park your car 24 hours a day. In some of these car parks there are active Parma Bike Sharing station to reach the town center easily. The Tep shuttle service is also available.

The Ghiaia Car Park is located in the Limitated Traffic Zone.From Friday 2 of december 2022, through the license plate detection system, cars usally not authorized to transit in the center, LTZ, will be allowed to freely access the Ghiaia car park. Cars that do not have permission to enter the LTZ can still pass through the LTZ to access only the parking lot. Cars that do not have the ZTL permit are authorized to head into the ZTL area next to the Ghiaia car park, exclusively to access the car park. Violators can get a fine if they do not access the Ghiaia car park but will circulate without authorization in the rest of the ZTL.Access to the car park will be regulated by a light signal positioned on the roundabout between the Verdi bridge and viale Mariotti. Cars not authorized to enter the LTZ near the signal will be able to continue towards the car park if the light signal is "free", otherwise, with the light signal "occupied", they will not be allowed to continue and access it, not even in the rest of the ZTL area.
